There’s never a dull moment in the world of JoJo Siwa — the singer’s makeup kit just got recalled from Claire’s for containing literal asbestos. What’s asbestos, you ask? Oh, it’s just a toxic mineral that can be used in plastic to make it stronger, and — if ingested or inhaled — is incredibly dangerous and can cause cancer. That stuff was literally just hanging around in JoJo’s lip gloss and eyeshadow kit for kiddies.

According to People, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning over the weekend for people to stop using the product and saying that it’s been recalled from the Claire’s shelves. “Today, the FDA is releasing new results from its continued testing of cosmetic products for asbestos & is warning consumers to not use 2 additional products that have tested positive for asbestos & have been recalled,” the Twitter statement read along with an image of the metallic, heart-shaped set.

Claire’s is like, the hub of all things fun and OTT for kids, so it’s pretty shocking that it would stock products containing such a toxic substance. According to USA Today, this is the second time in three months that products had to be recalled from the store because they contained asbestos. What’s the deal, Claire’s?

JoJo herself has yet to comment on the entire situation — probably because she’s literally 16 years old. The makeup kit in question is Batch/Lot No. S180109, and contains eyeshadow, two lip glosses, and nail polish, so if you’re a big JoJo fan, we’d encourage you to check your merch ASAP! Let’s hope North West didn’t buy one, seeing as she and JoJo are BFFs now.

Guess it’s not a good week to be a YouTuber-turned-beauty-merchandiser! Just ask Jojo and Jaclyn Hill.
