Ariana Grande Had The Sweetest Speech About Mental Wellness For Her Fans
Ariana Grande is on a roller coaster that only goes up. “Monopoly” is a bop, “7 Rings” has been at number-one for over two months (officially overtaking her personal record for “thank u, next”), and she’s prepping for two weekends in the desert as a Coachella headliner. After the massive bummer of a year she had personally in 2018, she deserves the good vibes that have been coming her way professionally. Ari’s feeling the love, and being the humanitarian she is, the “thank u, next” singer paid it forward with an inspirational speech that made Braveheart look lame.
Because the internet is forever, a fan account grabbed the IG story before it could disappear, so we’ll have it to comfort us until the end of time:

Ari told fans to protect their peace and energy, to take care of themselves, and to protect their space because we all “have a lot of work to do here and a lot of family and friends and love and important sh*t to take care of.”
“I just want to make sure you don’t run yourself to the ground and exhaust yourself,” Ari continued because millennial burn out is real. “And remember to protect your energy and do things that are good for you. And that you are loved and not alone. You deserve the best there is, and I love you.”
Ari said she wanted to spread positivity and light to her 150 million Instagram followers and to remind them that “life is beautiful if you allow it to be and if you put your energy in the right place.”
“Life can be pretty heavy so if you’re going through it or if you haven’t gone through it… everything, you know, is preparing you for something else or making your stronger or presenting you with opportunities for growth, or whatever,” she concluded. “Just keep that in mind.”
TBH, if Ari can get through the past few years without having any massive public breakdowns, we can all wait until we’re *inside* of our apartment buildings to start crying. This is the motivational content we need.
Ari’s in Los Angeles for Coachella rehearsals after completing the first ten dates of her Sweetener/Thank U, Next World Tour, and she’s clearly thriving. If her secret is just beauty sleep, good vibes, and a strong support system, maybe we can reach Ariana-levels of BDE in the rest of 2019. Spring has sprung.
