Ariana Grande Slams Grammy Producer Before Dropping Final Thank U, Next Teaser

Ariana Grande has HAD IT with the lies about her reasons for not showing up to the Grammys this year. While a Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich took an interview claiming that Ariana simply couldn’t pull a performance together and that it was “too bad” she wouldn’t be appearing, Ari is calling shenanigans on his statement. In a series of tweets, she says “now you’re lying about me” and it’s caused her to break her silence on the whole Ariana-Grande-is-boycotting-the-Grammys debacle.

Rumors first surfaced a few days ago that Ariana would not be attending due to lack of creative control. She reportedly wanted to perform “7 Rings” and got pushback from Grammy producers like Ken, so she pulled out and said f— this to the Grammys altogether. (Side note: that’s totally fair considering they have a pretty scathing history of being mad sexist.)

You go girl. Personal favorites? “i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken” and “not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.” Actually, strike that, every single word is iconic. She then finished it saying she saw a Grammy bus with her face on it as she typed the scathing review of the Grammys’ politicking and that she was still grateful. To move the conversation past the negativity, she decided to drop a final teaser before her album releases at midnight. Seriously, who cares about the Grammys when you got an Ariana Grande album about to drop?!

As for the teaser, which many think is a clip from “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored,” the final track on the album and a music video that might drop as early as tomorrow, it appears to show TWO Ariana’s — is she playing both the girlfriend and the wannabe-homewrecker? That’s definitely a possibility. Also, who is the STUD she is dancing with? You can check out the teaser here:

Okay, can we just fast forward to midnight already?!
