So Random! Bella Thorne & Tana Mongeau Are Feuding With Whoopi Goldberg

By  |

Earlier this week, Bella Thorne released her own nudes online after a hacker threatened to leak them. Along with her photos, Bella wrote “F*ck u and the power u think you have over me.” Since then, people have been praising Bella for her bravery and for drawing attention to the fact that there should be no shame in taking nude pics. That was everyone except Whoopi Goldberg, who pretty much said it was Bella’s own fault for taking the nudes in the first place.

In a clip from her show The View, Whoopi can be seen saying: “If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself. Once you take that picture, it goes into the Cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that.”

Bella responded to Whoopi’s hurtful comments on Instagram with an emotional series of videos.
She said: “I’m not gonna lie, I wanna say that I feel pretty disgusting. I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing that everyone’s seen my sh*t. And I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel bad about myself. And I hope you’re happy. I really do. I hope you’re so f*cking happy…You’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation.”

Bella also wrote a message to the presenter and actress in which she said: “So, what a girl can’t send her boyfriend that she misses photos of her that are sexy? Things that he’s already seen? I, as a woman, should be so scared walking around my home, being on my phone, doing anything? Is that what u want our women to be like? Scared of the masses for their sexuality?… I don’t.”

Bella also compared blaming someone for their nude photos getting leaked to a woman dancing in a club getting blamed for her own rape. She said that she had been asked to go on The View, but she doesn’t feel like “being beaten down by a bunch of older women.”

Bella’s ex-girlfriend, YouTuber Tana Mongeau, spoke out in support of the actress, writing on her Instagram Stories: “Yo, f*ck @whoopigoldberg. “F*ck sl*t shaming. F*ck blaming girls for bad things that happen to them & inciting fear. I love you @bellathorne whoopi i feel so sorry for you to have that mindset.”
