Bella Thorne read an emotional poem about her ex-girlfriend Tana Mongeau and kissed a fan on Wednesday at the MCM X LA! Pride event. The poem about the YouTuber star came from an excerpt from Bella’s upcoming book, The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: A Mental Disarray. Since Bella’s split last month with her longtime boyfriend, rapper Mod Sun, the actress and Tana have been hanging out and frequently interacting on social media. Tana wasn’t at the event, but Bella gave her a cheeky shoutout before she began her reading, saying “My ex-girlfriend clearly doesn’t love me enough to show up to my own event so.” What’s going on with these two? Are they getting back together or are they just close friends? What’s up with the wall-to-wall social media flirting? Someone give us some answers ASAP, we can hardly keep up!

Whatever the status of Bella and Tana’s relationship, it’s clear that Bella is super happy with her new beau, Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo. Despite the fact that Ben lives in Italy, Bella said: “seeing him on FaceTime all the time makes me smile very big.” We’re swooning!

At the same event, Bella also got real about LGBTQ+ issues, reading another excerpt from her book, entitled “Pride.” She also said that she would sign Taylor Swift‘s petition in support of the Equality Act. At the event, which donated part of its proceeds to benefit LA! Pride, Bella helped a fan stage a very special coming out Instagram post. (Always do it for the ‘gram.) In a sweet show of dedication to her fans, Bella posed for a pic kissing 21-year-old model Jazz Egger in order to help the model come out as bisexual. Bella later commented on the pic, “BE WHO U ARE U DESERVE IT,” which is a Pride Month sentiment we wholeheartedly agree with.
