Bella Thorne Redefines Her Sexuality In New Interview
Former Disney Channel star Bella Thorne has come out as pansexual in a new interview with ABC News. Bella previously came out as bisexual via Twitter in 2016 and says that she realized that pansexuality was a better fit for her when someone explained what the term meant.
In an interview that touched on everything from Bella’s decision to leak her own nudes following a hack to the death of her father and teaching herself how to read, the singer and actress explained pansexuality as “it’s literally, you like personality. You just like a being.”
Talking about her personal tastes, Bella said “I like sexy. I love skin, like I love seeing skin … I like sexy girls. I like sexy guys. I like sexy in general.” Bella talked about her pansexuality in her trademark low-key demeanor. We expected nothing less from the writer, who first announced that she was bisexual on Twitter in response to a fan question. Her chill approach to talking about sexuality is pretty admirable. We love how Bella just says it like it is. Her frankness extended to some of the interviews more personal topics as well, like the impact of her father’s death when she was nine, and the sexual abuse she suffered when she was young.
Bella has previously dated YouTuber Tana Mongeau and rapper Mod Sun. Currently, she has been linked to Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo. Recently, Tana and Bella’s close post-breakup friendship was called into question when Bella posted tweets about how the YouTuber had broken the “girl code.” The tweets likely referenced the face that Tana and Mod Sun were spotted grabbing dinner, despite his recent messy split from Bella.
