Fans Fear For Demi Lovato’s Sobriety Because They Think Her New Boyfriend Does Drugs

Demi Lovato just went public with her new man and fans are jumping to some pretty extreme conclusions. Last night, Dems posted a selfie with her new guy, model Austin G. Wilson and he posted a mirror pic as well calling her his “love.”
While some Lovatics were stoked for the “Daddy Issues” singer, others think that sharing a mutual friend who died from a drug overdose could mean that Austin is wrapped up in the world of drugs that Demi is trying to escape. As you probably recall, Demi was hospitalized in summer of 2018 after a heroin overdose. She had recently celebrated six months of sobriety before her relapse. After going to rehab, Demi seemed to be going strong — she was even dating fan-favorite The Bachelorette sweetheart, Mike Johnson! Austin definitely looks more like a bad boy than Mike, but it’s worth noting that he’s never publicly shared that he does drugs, so assuming such because he’s thin and has lots of tattoos is pretty problematic.
Y’all see Demi’s new man? Looks like does drugs on the daily?

At the end of the day if Demi is essentially living w Chloe and dating this guy, surely she knows the risks of being close w people w drug problems and instability. At nearly 30 years of age and after a near death experience, I’ve gotta wish her the best..

Just last month, they lost mutual friend, Thomas Trussell III, to a drug overdose. Last year, Austin lost another friend to a believed drug OD, celebrity tattoo artist, Isaiah Negrete. Coincidentally, Isaiah lost his life just days after tattooing Demi’s old friend Selena Gomez.
Typically, experts don’t recommend people struggling with substance abuse to begin relationships with one another, but we just have to wish the best for Demi and hope she’s making the best decision for her sobriety.
