Brother Frankie DELETES Tweet About Ariana Grande Being “Single”
Last night, Frankie Grande broke the biggest rule of the sibling handbook and dished on his sister, Ariana Grande’s relationship with Social House singer Mikey Foster. Dating rumors surrounding the two artists have been circulating since they collaborated on Ari’s latest single, “Boyfriend,” which was released at the beginning of August. Despite the fact that Ari and Mikey have both kept their mouths shut about their relationship status, Frankie spilled the tea while at the Game Changers premiere in LA yesterday.
“I love Mikey,” Frankie told Us Weekly about the Social House singer. “I think he’s a really sweet guy. So talented. So kind and so caring. He’s a great guy.” Not only did he sing Mikey’s praises to the press, but he also dished details on a double date he and his boyfriend Hale Leon had with Ari and her *supposed* new boo. “It was really fun,” the Broadway star shared. “Game night! Board games! So fun.” Adorable.
Ariana must have been pissed about Frankie’s comments because now, the Big Brother star has backtracked on them entirely and is insisting his sister is single. Today, he tweeted: “My sister is not in a relationship. Everyone relax. She is very much single.” Huh, how about that?
An hour after Frankie posted the tweet, however, he deleted it. Before he deleted his Twitter statement, the 36-year-old star gave another quote to Us Weekly redacting the comments he made at the premiere. “Ariana and Mikey Foster are not in a relationship, she is single and my comments about our recent hang as friends were not meant to be taken literally,” he explained. “Hale and I were on a date, which is why I referred to it as a double-date when we had plans with them, without realizing what the term insinuated about THEIR relationship outside of my own. It was literally four people meeting up as friends, and I would never comment on something so personal about her life anyway.”
Sounds to us like Frankie is doing some serious damage control in the sibling department. We wonder what Joan thinks about all of this …
