We have no choice but to stan Halsey, y’all! Yeah, I said it. The Manic singer-songwriter recently dragged a rude “fan” at her concert who was screaming her ex, G-Eazy‘s name at her from the front row of her show, then went onto social media to say, “I hope to God you never have to experience an abusive relationship. And if you do, I hope the world is kinder to you.”

To rewind a bit, Halsey and G-Eazy were in a relationship for more than a year until they split in 2018 amid rumors that G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum (lol), had cheated on her with various women and allegations he was just general trash. This weekend, G-Eazy confirmed he was hooking up with Megan Thee Stallion with a thirst-trap Instagram post of the “Hot Girl Summer” singer a day after Halsey got harassed during her concert by one of his fans.

This Saturday, while Halsey was performing more than a year and a half after her breakup with Gerald, some rando in the crowd of her Miami concert wouldn’t stop screaming his name, and Halsey snapped (we mean that in a good way).

“If you say G-Eazy one more f*cking time, I’ll kick you out from this concert,” Halsey says in the video posted to Twitter. “You wanna get out of the crowd? Who is it? It’s you? Who said G-Eazy? I’ll kick your ass out of the f*cking club. You don’t disrespect me like that at my own show.”

While some say Halsey seemed “unhinged” and “mentally unstable” (smh), others noted that when male musicians like Kanye West and Justin Bieber “go off” on fans during their concerts, they’re not critiqued in the same way. So, basically, if you’re hating on Halsey for sticking up for herself, ya sexist.

She later posted an Instagram Story, writing, “don’t ever let someone make u feel crazy or unhinged cause ur a woman standing up for urself. don’t tolerate disrespect in the name of being ‘nice’. Love u [sic].”

But it’s her Instagram comment that appears to be a response to the events that seem to shed a lot of light on her past relationship.

“I see y’all in the comments,” she wrote in a now-deleted comment. “And I know you think you’re funny. Cause you’re at home on your iPhone and I’m not a real human being to you. I hope to God you never have to experience an abusive relationship. And if you do, I hope the world is kinder to you than you are to me.”

We stand with Halsey.
