Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Accused Of Killing Girlfriend’s Dog
Unsurprisingly, a Jersey Shore cast member is in the most unhealthy relationship of 2018. In the latest installment of an escalating feud between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 32, and his baby mama Jen Harley, 31, Jen has accused Ronnie of killing her dog.
Naturally, people were curious about what exactly happened to Jen’s dog, who died suddenly in June before the couple’s public fight at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. This sparked the first in a chain of domestic abuse charges that would be filed against Jen, including an instance when she allegedly dragged Ronnie with a car while their daughter was in the vehicle leading to her arrest for domestic battery.
On one of Jen’s most recent Instagram posts, a fan posted a comment asking what exactly happened to her dog. Jen responded that Ronnie threw the dog into the pool because he was mad at her and that the dog drowned. Sorry, but WHAT?!
The accusation comes after a crazy fight on October 26 that started when Ronnie posted a video shaming Jen for leaving her children — her 12-year-old son from a previous relationship and their infant daughter, Ariana Sky — home alone while she goes out partying. Jen responded by trying to remove her daughter from Ronnie’s house but was blocked at the door by Ronnie’s aunt.
At this point, Ronnie had posted a video from two days before that showed Jen attacking Ronnie during an altercation that allegedly gave him a black eye. In the video, you can hear Jen accusing Ronnie of killing her dog before smacking him off-camera.
Clearly, animal murder would a new low in this toxic relationship, which has been increasingly unsteady since the first season of Jersey Shore: Family Reunion aired on MTV. The couple had clearly stayed together because Jen got pregnant and announced her six-month pregnancy after only three months of officially dating, but the couple seemed strong until they watched the April 19 and 26 episodes of Family Reunion, where Ronnie admitted he still loved for5mer costar Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. He proceeded to cheat on Jen on-camera and admitted to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi that he didn’t want to marry Jen because she wasn’t Sammi. Understandably, Jen was upset. Thus began their vicious relationship cycle which has featured extortion attempts, social media fights, domestic abuse charges and, now, possible animal abuse.
This shouldn’t be entirely surprising coming from a man whose first stint on Jersey Shore features countless bar fights, brawls with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, and an assault charge during his similarly volatile relationship with Sammi.
Hopefully, The Hills’ reboot goes a little more smoothly for its cast members.
