Kim Reveals Why They Canceled The Kardashian Christmas Card
Are we the only ones who missed the news that the Kardashians canceled their annual Christmas card (or should we say, Kristmas kard) in November? Kim Kardashian spoke to E! News on Tuesday about the reason for this trajesty at the KKW Beauty pop-up shop in Costa Mesa.
Apparently, Kris was too annoyed with trying to gather all sixteen of her children and grandchildren to even try this year, which is fair.
“Kris Jenner has given up,” said Kim, uttering the last sentence any of us thought we would ever hear. “She is just like, ‘I don’t have the energy to wrangle my kids anymore and their kids.'”
The exhaustion stemmed from the sh*tshow that was last year’s Christmas card shoot where Kim called Kourtney Kardashian the “least exciting to look at,” which is hilarious but probably still a little traumatic for the family to think about after that gigantic fight between the sisters.
This is the same argument that birthed the iconic quote, “Maybe if you had a f*cking business that you were passionate about then you would know what it takes to run a f*cking business but you don’t.”
It’s very possible that we won’t miss the Christmas card as much as we’ll miss the annual Christmas card throwdown, but luckily the Kardashians celebrated Christmas in October this year for their “A Very Kardashian Christmas” episode of season 19 that aired in November. Kourtney called Kim un-creative for claiming that she invented Christmas lights, the family went to Aldick’s, and planned their Christmas Eve party, which thankfully is still happening.
Odds are that this year’s big drama will go down at said Christmas Eve party, where Tristan Thompson may or may not be in attendance due to a basketball game. Kim told E! that she has no idea where True Thompson, Tristan and Khloe Kardashian‘s daughter, will be spending the holiday because of Tristan’s game. That combined with the fact that Kim and Kanye are hosting the party is a recipe for a great holiday showdown, but there’s no replacing the magic of the annual card.
In other Kardashian news, Kanye was caught texting at the opening of The Cher Show on Broadway (a phenomenal show, by the way) and apparently feels “horrible” about it, but everyone’s still hoping that the Queen herself (Cher, our one true icon) appears on this season of KUWTK to finally knock some sense into the “I Love It” rapper. We’ll wait.
