Mike Johnson Shares Regrets About Demi Lovato Relationship After Asking Out Keke Palmer
Mike Johnson has gotten himself into some hot water in terms of his dating life. We’re guessing The Bachelorette star isn’t as smooth as we initially thought. The reality star made an appearance on the Strahan, Sara, and Keke show yesterday where he spoke about his blossoming relationship with singer Demi Lovato, all before he asked host Keke Palmer on a date. Excuse me, Mike??
On the show, Mike mentioned that he regretted talking so publicly about his relationship with Demi, and said: “I don’t like dating in public.” He then used the “dating in public line” to segway into asking Keke on a date. “But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public …” he said, before trailing off. All three of the hosts were shook, as was the audience. Eventually, host Michael Strahan broke the awkwardness and said: “Mike, let me tell you something. Demi’s my girl, I love this one here too now. You mess up and I’m coming for you. You don’t want that.” Watch the clip below.
As for his relationship with Demi (which may be over, thanks to that interview), Mike elaborated further to Us Weekly about keeping things between them on the DL from now on. He said that he plans to keep his relationship with Demi “100 percent” to himself and also said that he’s learning from his mistakes when speaking to the media. He told Us:
“I truly don’t like speaking on certain things. I’m getting in trouble with my homeboys right now about it. I’m learning. I’m still a human being. I’m not perfect. I’ve messed up in the past. They say geniuses learn from the mistakes of others and intelligent people learn from their own mistakes. I’m not a genius. I want to be intelligent. Therefore, I messed up and I’m going to try not to let it happen again.”
According to Mike, he’s “definitely” still on good terms with Demi, but his wandering Keke eye tells us otherwise …
