If we had one piece of advice for Miley Cyrus right now, it’d probably be to stay off social media. The singer just offended a ton of people during an Instagram Live stream, including Liam Hemsworth stans and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Miley hopped on Instagram Live last night and was joined by her current boyfriend, Cody Simpson. When speaking about her relationship with 22-year-old Cody, Miley said: “There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up. You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d*cks out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d*ck that’s not a d*ck, you know? I always thought I had to be gay because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have d*cks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this Live.” Watch it below.

People have taken issue with Miley’s comments for a number of reasons. Firstly, she seems to be throwing shade at her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth. Miley was in a relationship with Liam for literally 10 years, so we’re pretty sure that he’s not “evil,” but go off, Milez. As well as her dig at Liam, Twitter users are accusing Miley of “queerbaiting,” because she basically said that she was gay because she couldn’t find a good man. Her comments imply that being gay is a choice, which Twitter users say is “insulting” to the LGBTQ+ community.

Miley has yet to respond to the criticism, but we have to admit — this isn’t a good look for her.
