Drake Got Called Out Before Unfollowing Kim K On Insta
2019 is already looking up because Kanye has figured out that not all of his Tweets need to *stay* on Twitter, so this hilarious thread has already been deleted, but Ye was not happy that the “In My Feelings” rapper was following his wife on Insta.
“Who’s bright idea was it to tell Drake to follow my wife on Instagram?” Kanye wrote on Twitter, which E! News thankfully managed to transcribe before the Tweets disappeared. “I don’t have beef with no one. Love everyone but don’t follow my f**king wife on Instagram. Ima focus on my family And you keep my family out of all of this wrestling foolishness.”
This is funny on many, many levels. Kanye clearly has beef with many people, and his feud with Drake has been going on since at least September when Kanye was accused of gossiping about Drake’s secret son to Pusha T who later told literally the entire world about him in a diss track. Gossip leading to mean subtweets and a passive-aggressive Insta follow? Celebrities really are just like us! Also, if you’re wondering what he means by ‘wrestling foolishness,’ apparently wrestling is fake and so is Drake, so there’s some new slang for the new year.
Kim wasn’t too happy with Drake either after he apparently called Kanye to threaten him in the middle of a dispute about using one of Kanye’s songs as a sample for a record the rappers made together in 2009. To be fair, Kanye revealed Drake’s threats in the same thread he used to compare himself to Michael Jackson and Drake is still best known as that nice dude from Degrassi, so I’m not 100% sure those threats aren’t also “wrestling.”
@drake Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake.

The O.G. Kardashian thirst-trap probably didn’t even notice that Drake was following her account amongst her 123 million other followers, which is a problem I would *love* to have. If Drake followed my Insta, I would immediately die of excitement and have a screenshot of his follow request inscribed on my tombstone, but for Kim K, hot rappers lurking her account is just a regular Wednesday.
Drake still follows Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Kris Jenner, so it doesn’t look like he was purposefully trying to provoke Kanye this time. He just wanted to keep up with the Kardashians like everybody else in the world.
We’re still waiting on the public apology Kanye demanded from our favorite simpy rapper, but this may be the one time an unfollow ends a feud instead of starting one. 2019 really is going to be meditating in positivity.
