James Charles Shades The Dobre Brothers By Recreating Their Infamous Meet & Greet Video

Earlier this month, a video of a meet and greet with YouTube boyband the Dobre Brothers went viral for all the wrong reasons. The video showed the band, who became known via their family YouTube channel of the same name, looking uninterested and disengaged when meeting fans at their meet and greet. The video went viral online, and YouTuber James Charles even shared it with the caption “what the actual f*ck is this.” The boyband later apologized to fans, citing “48 hours of restless filming and touring then meeting thousands of fans with no sleep,” for their unprofessional behavior.

James Charles, who was one of the many Twitter users who called out the band, has continued to troll them even further. Over the weekend, the 20-year-old influencer recreated the Dobre Brothers meet and greet video while promoting his Morphe x James Charles mini palette. He shared a video of him and his team ignoring a fan at the meet and greet before he can be seen laughing and then hugging the fan who took part. He also mocked the Dobre Brothers’ apology by using the same caption on his tweet that Lucas Dobre did back at the beginning of October.

James’s followers were living for the shade thrown at the YouTube boyband, and one Twitter user even wrote: “when this is reality for a lot of other influencers.” James responded to the tweet ensuring fans that he would never be rude when meeting them.

The Dobre Brothers have yet to respond to the shade thrown by James, but we doubt they want to dig themselves an even bigger hole.
