Over the last five seasons, we’ve seen some pretty villainous characters on Bachelor in Paradise. Who can forget Chad Johnson and Joe Bailey? But, last night’s episode of BiP proved that there’s someone even worse than them – Leo Dottavio. If you thought his dramatic exit (where he threw a drink at Joe Amabile – aka Grocery Store Joe – and almost threw a punch, too, before production intervened) wasn’t enough to make him the worst villain in Bachelor history, just wait until you hear what he said to alums, Amanda Stanton and Tanner Tolbert.

As always, fan-favorites Amanda and Tanner live-tweeted Monday night’s episode. In a since-deleted tweet, she wrote, “Slightly off topic but Leo did get fired from Water World, right? Need to make sure before I take the kids,” which prompted Leo to send her a pretty nasty message.

“Just got a lovely DM from Leo calling me a ‘piece of shit’ & that my tweet about him last night is going to ‘come back to haunt me’…so i guess he can never blame ‘editing,'” she wrote.

“Going after my livelihood cause of unsubstantiated claims from my college days isn’t too classy miss,” Leo quickly retorted, calling Amanda out for using him to stay relevant. “I don’t even know who you are but it’s pathetic. Faux ass celeb. Find some other way to stay relevant.”

To make matters worse, Leo also challenged Tanner to a fight after he called him a “snake.” Leo later deemed the tweet “a clear joke,” but um… we’re not quite convinced.

Unsurprisingly, Bachelor Nation is pissed that he’d come for Amanda and Tanner. Some fans are even demanding that ABC cuts ties with Leo immediately, while others, like Twitter user @taragurlides are urging the network to “seriously crack down on the screening process” moving forward. A request that, honestly, is long overdue after people like Lee Garrett, who had a history of blatantly racist tweets, and Licoln Adim, who was convicted of sexual assault, somehow slipped through the cracks of the apparently rigorous casting process and psychological evaluations.

Let’s not forget that this isn’t the first time Leo has found himself in the middle of a controversy. Last month, Bekah Martinez shared multiple anonymous accusations of sexual harassment against him on social media – allegations that Leo has strongly denied. Instead, he threatened Bekah with legal action for trying to ruin his reputation. Sound familiar? There’s clearly a pattern here and it’s evident that Leo’s behavior on and off the show should not be tolerated anymore.
