Lili Reinhart Teases Riverdale Season Three After “Early Peek”
Omg, omg, omg! Just when we thought we couldn’t be any more excited for Riverdale‘s upcoming third season, Lili Reinhart goes ahead and teases the heck out of it! But she didn’t just tease us, the actress also revealed that this season is probably her favorite one yet. Ummm, considering the last two seasons of the series were epic AF, we can only imagine what the next group of Riverdale episodes have in store for us!
Though she didn’t go into any specifics whatsoever, she did reveal that she got an early sneak peek at the premiere episode, which will air on The CW on Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PM ET. We couldn’t help but notice that she included some interesting emojis. There was a skull, a surprised face, some weird symbols, a magnifying glass, and a black hole. Based on the emojis alone, we’re in for quite a season filled with death, surprises, and maybe some old-school detective Betty!
Just want to say that I saw an early peek at the season 3 premiere of Riverdale and…… this season is probably my favorite. Just you freaking WAIT. ?????

AH! It’ll be really hard for us to patiently wait until October, but until then, we have so much to look forward to. Lili’s teaser isn’t the first nor will it be the last since we’re still waiting on Riverdale‘s first official trailer. So far, we know quite a bit about what will go down in the first episode. We know that the show will not pick up where it left off in season two’s finale that saw poor Archikins get arrested after Hiram Lodge frames him for a murder he didn’t commit.
Instead, the start of the third season will begin with a time jump that sees the gang – Archie, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead – enjoying Labor Day after “the worst summer” ever. Unfortunately, their efforts to prove Archie’s innocence does not guarantee that he won’t go to jail because according to Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, we will see Archie’s trial play out in court.
In June, he shared the title of the premiere, “Labor Day,” along with a comic of Archie on trial.

We also heard that actress Penelope Ann Miller will play Ms. Wright, the district attorney Archie must face off against in court. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ms. Wright “will weave together disparate moments of Archie’s young life to portray him as a dangerous, violent sociopath who is capable of committing a heinous crime.” You can check out a snapshot of her on set in July 2018 with Mädchen Amick and Molly Ringwald:
We are so excited! Can October 10th come any sooner, please?
