Riverdale’s Mädchen Amick Presents Award To TV Daughter Lili Reinhart With Cute Speech
Is it just us or are Mädchen Amick and Lili Reinhart giving Lorelai and Rory Gilmore for cutest mother-daughter pair on TV? When they’re not gushing about how amazing it is working with one another, they’re taking adorable selfies and giving us a behind-the-scenes look of The CW’s Riverdale. And now, Mädchen’s made our hearts melt with her sweet speech while presenting Lili with an award at the Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood ceremony.
During the August 28 awards ceremony, the former Twin Peaks actress took the stage to present her TV daughter with the Variety + H&M Conscious Award, which she said is “given to a recipient who uses their voice as power to speak on behalf of important social and environmental issues.” Then, she told the world what makes Lili worthy of such an honor.
“I have the pleasure with working alongside one of the most beautiful, powerful, brave actresses that I’ve ever worked with in my career, Lili Reinhart,” Mädchen gushed. “A lot of people ask, ‘What kind of advice do you give to Lili?’ and I say I don’t need to give any advice to Lili because she stands in her power. She’s a huge advocate for body awareness and mental health. I love this girl and can’t wait to stand by her side for years to come. Lili, congratulations.”

This isn’t the first time that Mädchen’s made it known that working with Lili is a blessing. A few weeks ago, she took to Twitter after a particularly long filming day to share how much she loves working with her “warrior queen.”
I love you ❤️
