Considering Lili Reinhart and her Riverdale co-star/boyfriend Cole Sprouse, are one of the most private couples in Hollywood, it’s always nice to see them show us some PDA. Aside from romantic birthday tributes and some social media flirting every now and then, these two are definitely not the lovey-dovey type in public. However, the actress was feeling extra cute over the weekend because she posted a super sweet message on Twitter about “cuddling up” with her bae.

While the rest of the world is in New York for Fashion Week, Lili let us in on a little secret – there are much better things she’d rather be doing… like cuddling with Cole.

We feel you, girl! We’d also much rather cuddle with Cole our S/O’s. Thanks to her tweet, we can now perfectly imagine #Sprousehart laying on the couch watching Netflix in Vancouver, Canada (where both Lili and Cole are filming the upcoming third season of Riverdale) on their days off, and honestly, we can’t thank Lili enough for helping us create this image in our minds.

It’s these little signs of affection that make them being so private worth it. But don’t expect it to happen all the time. During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in July, Lili got real about talking about her relationship with Cole in public. “I’m not okay talking about my relationship,” she said. “I’m not going to tell you my love story. That’s just not appropriate right now.”

The last time Lili gushed about her BF was on his birthday when she shared the most romantic tribute EVER. She ended the post with, “Happy birthday, my love.” Yep, you read that right, MY LOVE!

Then, there’s their casual banter every so often, like when Cole flirtatiously wrote “a/s/l?” on a photo of Lili on Instagram. We live for moments like this but can also understand why they would want to keep their romance far away from the public eye. It’s not easy being a celebrity couple these days. They’re constantly being watched and criticised (just look at Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson), and when you’re on a popular TV series like Riverdale AND play one of the most beloved ships, #Bughead, it’s easy to feel the pressure of living up to certain fans’ expectations.

Clearly, Lili and Cole are doing things their way – and it’s working.
