Riverdale’s Mädchen Amick Shares the Sweetest Tweet About TV Daughter Lili Reinhart
Sometimes she drives us crazy, but Alice Cooper is definitely one of our favorite parents on Riverdale. And even though her relationship with Betty is complicated, there doesn’t seem to be anything but love and admiration between Mädchen Amick and Lili Reinhart on set. In a tweet she shared on Tuesday, Mädchen gushed over her TV daughter and managed to get us even more pumped for season three than we already are, all in one fell swoop.
If you’re as obsessed with Riverdale as we are, you probably already know that filming for the next season is in full swing. Right now, they seem to be working on episode four, and apparently, there’s a pretty big scene between Betty and Alice that we’re not going to want to miss. According to Mädchen’s tweet, they filmed 13 pages of a script together in one day, which is a lot of screentime for them both.
“There’s NO one else in the world I’d rather film 13 pages in one day with than my warrior queen @lilireinhart,” Mädchen wrote. “CanNOT express how much luv I have for her & how she continues to blow me away with her endless talent! U guys are going to luv ep 304. soooo much parent history.”

Parent history? We hope she means that, because we’ve been super curious about what happened in Alice’s younger years… especially where the Southside Serpents and FP are concerned. The show has kind of touched on it, but we’re missing a lot of details that are crucial to explaining why Alice is the way she is as an adult — and maybe all this filming means that she and Betty are really getting deep into it?
I love you ❤️

And of course, Lili replied to her tweet with an “I love you,” which is so sweet. We love these two and their off-screen relationship. As complicated as their on-screen obviously is, there doesn’t seem to be anything this mother/daughter duo won’t do for each other, either.
The wait for Riverdale‘s return has been almost unbearably long for fans, but it’s almost over. Season three is set to premiere on October 10, which definitely sounds like it’s so far away, but in reality, it’s less than two months from right now. And hopefully, while we continue to wait for new episodes, Mädchen and the rest of the cast will continue to drop a few hints about what we can expect when the show is back. It will definitely be worth the wait.
