Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey released the music video for their song “Don’t Call Me Angel” today and we have a lot to say about it. The song was written for the new Charlie’s Angels movie soundtrack and fans were super excited to hear how the three artists, all with very different vocal ranges, would sound together. However, instead of acknowledging how amazing the song and video is, fans are talking about how the entire thing seems to be a huge dig at Miley’s ex, Liam Hemsworth.

Ariana, Miley, and Lana first teased the song collaboration all the way back in June, way before Miley and Liam announced their separation. So of course, fans didn’t make the connection between the song and their relationship. Now, people have realized that the song is called “Don’t Call Me Angel,” and Angel was literally the only nickname Liam had for Miley. GASP.

Aside from the actual name of the song, fans also think the video features a lot of subtle nods to Liam and Miley’s relationship. First off, some think the guy Miley beats up in the video is a Liam look-alike.

In the lyrics, Miley references the fact that she was the money maker in the relationship. We don’t know for sure if this was the case, but she is pretty damn successful, while Liam hasn’t been in a huge movie in … a while.

Another HUGE easter egg in the video can be seen at 3:19, when Miley licks Ariana in a SUSPICIOUSLY similar way to this viral video of Liam and Miley from the Avengers: Endgame premiere back in April.
