The One Where Ross Becomes A Criminal? The Blackpool Police Department in England posted security footage on their Facebook page of a man wanted for questioning in relation to a theft at a local restaurant in September.

Let’s hope David Schwimmer has an alibi because this wanted criminal looks exactly like our least favorite F.R.I.E.N.D., Ross Geller.

That’s right, in addition to being manipulative, possessive, jealous and selfish, Ross has now also been accused of stealing beer from a Blackpool restaurant.

The suspect’s photo was posted on October 23 and received more than 102,000 comments in 24 hours, with Facebook users asking if the man happened to be trained in the art of Unagi, if the proprietors might have thrown away his sandwich, or if the investigators are feeling like they’re always stuck in second gear.

Another favorite comment: “It’s NOT that common. It DOESN’T happen to every guy, and it IS A BIG DEAL!!”

The Blackpool Police have confirmed that David was in America on the day in question, and are “so sorry it has to be this way.”

David took to Twitter on October 24 to further prove his innocence, posting a video spoofing the original security footage in a New York grocery store. The recreation only solidifies the resembles between David and his doppelganger, but don’t take our word for it:

It looks like Phoebe Buffay isn’t the only one with an evil identical twin! Maybe this robber and Ursula Buffay can get together and have a sitcom of their own: E.N.E.M.I.E.S.

The real David Schwimmer is currently filming The Laundromat, an upcoming Steven Soderbergh film co-starring Meryl Streep, Gary Oldman, and Antonio Banderas. He has also recently appeared on the revival of Will And Grace and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Robert Kardashian in 2016’s The People vs OJ Simpson: American Crime Story.

If you have any information on who this man might actually be, please email [email protected] with log LC-20180920-0670.

Remember, this is not Ross from Friends. It’s also not the musical artist Ross From Friends or Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother. If any sitcom character was going to commit a robbery, we all know it would be one of the guys from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
