The Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad went down like a lead balloon when it first came out in 2016. In fact, it only has a 27% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch. Still, the creators wanted to make a sequel so that they could redeem themselves and right any wrongs that fans noticed in the first installment. To do this, they brought in the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie franchies James Gunn to take over. The movie, which was initially called Suicide Squad 2 before being changed to The Suicide Squad, will be out on August 6th, 2021.
