16 Body-Swap Movies You Totally Forgot About
Body-swap films are not a new thing. Movie executives were experimenting with them long before CGI and high-tech animation. A throwback example is Goodbye Charlie from 1964. The comedy features Debbie Reynolds from Singin’ in the Rain fame. Debbie looks like a chic blond woman but she is actually the reincarnation of Charlie Sorrel (Harry Madden). Charlie was a womanizer who was caught red-handed fooling around with Sir Leopold Sartori‘s (Walter Matthau) wife Rusty (Laura Devon). So, Sir Leopold shoots Charlie. Clearly his time isn’t all up which is why Charlie comes back from heaven. Surprise, surprise he comes back as the aforementioned beautiful blond lady.
