Viggo Mortensen Bonded With His Horse
In classic Viggo Mortensen fashion, the actor bonded with his horse, Uraeus, on set. The two were so close at the end of production that Viggo bought the horse and also bought two more so that Brego wouldn’t feel lonely.
Viggo clearly has a love for horses, but he certainly didn’t lack for money at the end of filming. Aragorn wouldn’t have been anything without his horse, and maybe Viggo knew that deep down. That’s probably what led him to buy Uraeus and his friends. A good horse is the best companion that some people can have, and Viggo may be one of those people.
