Shaun of the Dead

Universal Pictures

Another British classic, Shaun of the Dead rarely gets the attention it deserves, yet it still performed very well at the box office. The movie was the first to bring TV stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to cinema screens in what would be known as the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. The 2004 comedy had a budget of $6.1 million and took in $30 million at the box office. The movie put the two English comedians on the map all over the world and gained director Edgar Wright a cult following for his film making style.
