Ariana Grande literally can’t stop working. GF needs to take a break (not that we’re complaining about having more AG music). Now, her longtime friend and collaborator Tommy Brown says he wants to release the music they’ve been working on… and Ari might be cool with it.

“[Y]ou know what… I’m tired.. I’m about to just drop one of these songs,” the producer tweeted, tagging Ariana.

Ari quickly responded saying, “I hate you,” before clarifying, “I love you so much.”

Then, Tommy joked (maybe?) that there was a song called “i hate u (i love u so much).” To be fair, that totally sounds like an AG track title. Quickly, people started tweeting #ihyilysmTONIGHT — including Alfredo Flores, who is Ariana’s camera man. It’s pretty clear they’re just messing with the stans. WHY?

Ari is definitely back in the studio and she wants to release the tracks, but unfortunately, that’s just not how the music industry works.

As Ariana fans may remember, Ari dropped her album, thank u, next within months of the album prior sweetener and was known for dropping song lyrics and possible titles in her Twitter. With her sixth studio album in the works now, fans are clearly pretty excited to get more from their favorite artist. But Ariana’s tour with a whopping 101 stops literally just ended and our girl needs to like, chill for a sec.

Tommy Brown — aka TBhits — worked on five songs on tu,n including the title track, three on sweetener, seven on Dangerous Woman and many others with Ari. He’s also collaborated with Fifth Harmony, Chris Brown, Big Sean, and Jhene Aiko.
