Riverdale Season 4 Will Be On Netflix May 2020
Riverdale season four started airing on The CW last October, but it’s been a long wait for international fans and those who want to wait until the show’s on Netflix so that they can binge it all in one go.
Finally, there’s a Netflix release date for the fourth season of Riverdale. Starring Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, KJ Apa, and Madelaine Petsch, the show gets back from its midseason hiatus on January 22, and shortly after the season wraps in May, it will appear on Netflix. There are still 13 episodes left to air of Riverdale season four so we’ve got plenty of time before then.
The CW show will be available on the streamer in the end of the month, soon after the finale airs — meaning May 21 or May 28th will be its drop date, according to NetflixLife.com.
As we reported last May, it was revealed that the exclusivity deal between The CW and Netflix — where all CW shows would end up on the OG streaming service — was over. But since Netflix and The CW had already agreed on Riverdale‘s appearance on the service, there are no worries about whether or not every episode of the Archie-adapted show will be on Netflix. Even if RD wasn’t a part of the original agreement, the end of the deal doesn’t mean that CW shows won’t go to Netflix, it just means that every show will be shopped individually to the streamer.
Still to come is the Katy Keene premiere, which takes place in the same universe as Riverdale — and possibly Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, depending on who you ask. With RD coming back on the 22nd and CAOS part three going on Netflix January 24, Archie fans are being fed well this month!
