20 Of The Most Unnecessary TV Show Reboots & Revivals
Knight Rider (2008)
David Hasselhoff had a serious career in the ’80s. Not only was he on Baywatch, but he was also the star of Knight Rider, the crime-fighting action series that aired from 1982 to 1986. David played Michael Knight, who owned an artificially intelligent car named KITT. NBC thought it would be a good idea to reboot the show in 2008, casting Justin Bruening from All My Children as Michael’s estranged son and Val Kilmer as the new voice of KITT. Critics and viewers did not take to the show well, causing it to be canceled after one season.
