20 Of The Most Unnecessary TV Show Reboots & Revivals
Mockingbird Lane (2012)
The Munsters was a big hit in the ’60s, following a family of monsters who lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The show began airing in 1964 and ended in 1966 after two seasons due to a drop in ratings. Nearly 50 years after the show ended, NBC decided to reboot it under the name Mockingbird Lane with an entirely new cast playing the old characters in a new, nowhere-near-as-scary form. The reboot starred Jerry O’Connell, Portia de Rossi and Eddie Izzard and only lasted one episode (!) after it wasn’t picked up by NBC following the pilot.
