GoFundMe Campaign For Homeless Man Sends Three People To Prison
The story goes that when Kate McClure, then 27, was stranded in Philadelphia after her car ran out of gas, she quickly found herself being rescued. A homeless man named Johnny Bobbitt, 34, noticed McClure’s misfortune, and immediately took it upon himself to lend her a helping hand. He instructed Kate to stay in her car, lock the doors, and wait for him to get back. After a short while, he returned, hand-delivering a can of gasoline that he bought using the last $20 he had. What Johnny didn’t know, was that his relationship with Kate McClure would change the course of his life forever… but perhaps not for the better.
